Hallbrook Farms is a premier luxury neighborhood located at the intersection of 119th and State Line in Leawood, Kansas. Hallbrook has a rich heritage that dates back to 1927 when Joyce C. Hall, founder of Hallmark Cards, Inc., settled his family on this remote, wooded expanse of land. At that time Mr. Hall purchased over 730 acres of land for his family's farm, most of which has been developed into the Hallbrook that you see today. Mr. Hall was living at the farm in Leawood when he died in 1982 at the age of 91.

On January 1, 1999, the Hallbrook Homes Association was established by the homeowners for the benefit of Hallbrook residents. Nestled in the heart of the growing suburbs of South Johnson County, Hallbrook offers a unique and comfortable atmosphere for all residents.

The Homes Association owns and has responsibility for all of the common areas of the subdivision. The common areas include the berms along 119th Street and State Line Road, all neighborhood entrances, 93 islands, the monuments, guardhouse, mailboxes, security cameras, light poles, and street trees.
